A Return to Origins

holy_earth_Caskets_V7_final.png

Holy Earth began with a simple conviction: that the earth matters.

We believe there is wisdom in the ancient understanding that we come from the earth, and in time, return to it.

This bond between humanity, the land, and creation has shaped the way people understood life, memory, and belonging for generations.

Holy Earth was founded to honor that relationship.

We believe that the vessel entrusted with a person's final remains should reflect the same values that give meaning to life itself: authenticity, simplicity, dignity, and respect for creation.

For this reason, we work with natural earth rather than manufactured materials. We preserve rather than disguise. We reveal rather than decorate. We allow the material to remain true to its origin.

Our connection to the City of David and the ancient landscapes of the Holy Land is a natural extension of this belief.

The archaeological earth of Jerusalem, together with the desert landscapes of Timna, the Ramon Crater, and the Negev Highlands, connects us to beginnings—to the land, to memory, to faith, and to the enduring story of creation itself.

Through our exclusive partnership with the City of David, and through a proprietary process developed with the support of the Israel Innovation Authority, we are able to preserve this ancient earth while maintaining its essential nature.

The earth remains earth.

What we create is not merely a memorial vessel, but a tangible expression of a timeless truth: that we are part of creation, that we belong to the earth from which we came, and that there is dignity in returning to it.

From our workshop in Israel to the families we serve around the world, this belief continues to guide everything we do.

I have always been drawn to natural materials.

To earth, stone, wood, and the quiet beauty found in things shaped by time rather than manufactured for perfection.

Over the years, I found myself collecting stones from places I visited, keeping them close not because of their value, but because of the sense of connection they carried – to a place, a memory, a moment in time.

That same appreciation for authenticity has guided much of my work.

When I create something, I begin with a simple question: would this be meaningful to me? Would it reflect the quality, honesty, and sense of beauty I would want for myself and for the people I love?

Holy Earth grew from that perspective.

Every vessel is designed with deep respect for the material from which it is made and for the life it is intended to honor. The goal has never been to create something elaborate, but something true—something capable of carrying memory with dignity, simplicity, and meaning.

The earth, in its natural form, already tells a story. My role is to listen carefully and shape it with respect.
